Outreach

In addition to supporting the hundreds of missionaries sent out by the Presbyterian Church USA, our church has independently supported the construction of a church in Brazil.

Because there is a large immigrant population in MetroWest, we are particularly involved with outreach to that community. As a result, we have members who are from Brazil, Cameroon and Nigeria. In addition, countries represented in our fellowship include Northern Ireland, Scotland, South Africa, Japan, and Canada.

A Place to Turn is an independent food pantry serving the MetroWest. While it is not a program of the Church, it is located on the Church property and is heavily supported with the volunteer efforts of many members of Hartford Street Church. A Place to Turn provides food, clothing and household items to those who need them. They are always looking for volunteers, food and funds. Hours are:

Monday, Tuesday & Thursday—9:30 a.m.-–12:30 p.m.
Wednesday—11:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m.–7:00 p.m.
